Jason's signature carved into the carousel floor.
Finally, all the parts are complete: the ornamented sweep covers, the burgundy colored drapes and tassels, the incredibly complicated aqua blue center house, and especially the animals. The kid's signatures have been carved into the oak floor of the carousel and filled with colored resin. And the crew packs every thing up and goes to the park to install the carousel!

First, Marvin installs the mechanism and the outer ring of animals and hangs the floor. Then, Milo and his crew assemble all the parts that they have spent two years making.

Milo has planned the music on this carousel to be as unique as the menagerie! Joseph Gray has written and recorded three songs: I Don't Want to Get Off, Positive, and The Carousel, which he performed with his son, Joe. Larry Harlow and David Gonzales have written Kid to Kid Merry-Go-Round which they recorded with the help of a group of neighborhood kids. To add more music, Milo and WFMU public radio host Maria Levitsky have chosen a wild variety of recordings spanning the planet and the century!
