Riverbank State Park is unusual in that it is the only state park in Manhattan, but also in that its twenty-eight beautifully landscaped acres are atop a man-made water treatment plant that is elevated sixty-nine feet above the Hudson River. There's a swimming pools, skating rink, theatre and restaurant. There's a promenade along the Hudson, and, at water lever, an amphitheatre and boat docks.
